PROJECT
BOOM! is a non-profit organization that aims to capture, collect, archive, and share the valuable life experiences and lessons learned by the baby boomer generation. Our ecosystem is designed to serve baby boomers and beyond, providing a variety of touch points to engage with our community. It is comprised of the podcast, website, social media and the book.
The podcast features weekly interviews with baby boomers, covering a variety of topics guided by our team. The website serves as a hub where people can read and share stories, shop our products and learn about our mission and partnerships. Our social media channels provide a platform for ongoing conversations to help promote our brand as well as expand the collection of stories. And the book, our hero product, is a limited edition series released yearly. It features a limited number of contributors with the purpose of organizing book launch events to gather and celebrate our community.
BOOM! strives to foster meaningful connections and discussions centered around shared experiences, ultimately creating a space where baby boomers can come together to learn, grow, and celebrate their life journeys.
ROLE
I conceived and developed this year-long thesis project as part of the MFA in Design/Designer as Entrepreneur program at the School of Visual Arts, which I completed in the Spring of 2023.
I worked closely with my thesis advisor Tim Cohan, who provided unparalleled feedback and guidance.
